Location

As can be seen from these ariel views the barn is surrounded by quiet paddocks and woodland, home to varied wildlife. Although, no longer a working farm, there are horses, swans, ducks, geese as well as visiting wildfowl to our four ponds.

Many marked footpaths and cyclepaths from the barn take walkers and cyclists through the beautiful surrounding countryside, these join with the 'Munnings Trail'.

The closest villages are Chediston Green & Chediston Village, with the closest local pub, the Rumburgh Buck, in Rumburgh village [2 miles north].

The closest town is Halesworth. This old market town has a variety of independent shops, good pubs and restaurants on the charming pedestrian thoroughfare.

A notable venue is 'The Cut'; a vibrant arts and media centre that holds all sorts of events and shows, weekly arts cinema and has dedicated exhibition space. Workshops, courses and classes in various forms of arts, media, fitness and dance are also available.

The famous seaside town of Southwold lies to the east, a great place to relax and unwind with its classic sandy beaches beneath a traditional pier, with its child friendly restaurants and entertainments such as Punch & Judy shows.

Southwold is home to the Adnam's Brewery, which produces first rate beers and ales sold in cosy and long established pubs.

The Crown and The Swan are both reknowned hotel restaurants serving excellent modern cuisine.
